Fashion trends that will make you look wow
Who doesn’t want to look fashionable? To grab the best dress which no one else has tried is every fashionista’s desire. We all look out for uber sexy dresses that enchant every onlooker. Trends keep on changing and we need to be updated with the latest fashion in town. You don’t want your attire to be called as passé. The designers keep on exploring innovative collections every season, and the couture which they show on the ramp is scintillating.
Below we mention some cool fashion trends that will make you look wow in 2011:
1. Try out the 70s glamour
This era had an air of sexuality in the dress along with defiant independence. The lasses in this era carried a boldness quotient. And this style is something which has got the renaissance in the year 2011. Hot chicks are dressing themselves in 70s attire, and thus adding the perfect glam to their wardrobe. All you can look for this season is clean yet voluminous silhouettes. You can also try high waist bell bottom pants with a sleek belt. The blouses which you look for should be particularly of silk or satin fabric and the sleeves of the blouse should be billowing or bishop. You can also try hot pants or a smart printed jumpsuit.
2. The motorcycle chic look
The new trend which is sure to make you look gorgeous in 2011 is the biker chic. You can pair up leather jackets with tight skinny jeans. Try jackets of black or silver color. The silver one is sure to add enough of spark in your personality. You can get the biker chic jacket from Burberry, this has zipped sleeves. Short skirts will also do well with the jacket, and do remember to wear long boots with these.
3. Full skirts
Long skirts are back in fashion and these are sure to make you look debonair. Top fashion brands like Louis Vuitton and Prada are designing long skirts this season. Below the knee circle skirts and cinched in waists are gaining popularity. A straight cut or pencil skirt is the right one to give you the hour glass shape. Some accessorizing work which you need to do is try ladylike kitten heels with the skirt. Blood red lipsticks for your luscious lips and cats eyes glasses will just go well with it.
4. Don in red
The killer red color never moves out of fashion. Just wear anything in red, be it a one piece or shirt, you are sure to look like a seductress. You can also look for red trousers they just look so pretty and suave.
Trying the above fashion trends is sure to make to dazzle this season. So, all you can do is to get these dresses in your wardrobe and be the femme fatale.

Travel Time: Airport Delays
I always fly to my Dad's house for Christmas. I've never experienced a delay before either. On Wednesday I experienced my first delay. Was it fun? Yes, but only because I'm pretty sure I lost my mind while waiting.
When we got to the airport the screen said my plane would arrive at 10:05 pm instead of 8:05 pm. It wasn't raining all that much on my way to the airport, but I guess there was some rain somewhere that delayed us.
My Mom and I walked to the terminal with the expensive shops and I got a chocolate croissant at Au Bon Pain. As we did that, my Dad called telling us to try to get me on an earlier flight. That didn't work out too well for us. Which I didn't mind all that much at that time.
Around 11 pm my flight finally came in. Only a few people got off. After all it was a connecting flight. They told us people, who were patiently waiting to leave the airport, that the plane had been struck by lightening. That meant that we were going absolutely no where. So after they got every single person off the plane they announced the lightening thing again and then said that at 12:45 am another flight would take us where we were going.
We finally left around 1:30 am and I arrived at the destination around 3:30 am. I got off the plane and met up with my Dad and Grandpa. They waited with me at the baggage claim. They couldn't find our baggage for half an hour. So we finally left around 4 am. I finally got to my Dad's house around 6 am.
So over all that was a long day/night. I was awake for most of it until I got on the plane too. Which definitely made me go insane. I like to be in bed by 9 pm when I've been at school all day. So I definitely was sleep deprived. It definitely was an experience though.
I hope you guys had a good holiday!

NYX Lip Gloss Swatch: Pink Frost
Since I'm going to another state for Christmas, I got early Christmas presents from my mom on Sunday. She got me three NYX lipglosses. This is the first one I decided to swatch for you guys. The first picture shows the front label. The second pictures shows it standing up. The third picture shows the top of the lip gloss cap, which has an adorable bow on it. The fourth pictures just shows the information label (sorry for the bad quality). And lastly, the fifth one shows what it looks like on me.
So as you can see this is a light pink lip gloss. It's perfect for a black or brown smokey eye. Also with a nude look. I think this would be a great color for anyone also. I should be doing a review on this sometime soon.

Claire.

Homemade: Brown Sugar Scrub
Sugar scrubs are one of my favorite ways to get off all the disgusting dead skin. You can buy them at the store, but it's so much easier to make at home (and cheaper!).
Brown Sugar Scrub:
Makes: One full body application
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Shelf Life: None, Keep refrigerated
Ingredients:
Scoop some into the palm of your hand. Spread it around your torso and limbs. Avoid broken skin and your face. Also make sure you do this in the shower.
If you guys use this, let me know! I definitely plan on using this recipe sometime soon.
xxoo,
Claire.

Packing Guide: Weekend Trips
Hello gorgeous!
So I'm starting a new segment. It's all about packing. If you travel a lot you probably have some ideas, but if you don't then here they are! There is a list of questions you need to ask yourself in order to pack.
In the summer time you may be going to the beach. During winter you may be going to your countryside house. You could be going to the city for the weekend for networking and socializing. You could be visiting your parents back home. Each of these scenarios require different things that you need to pack.
What will I be doing while I'm there?
Beach Weekend:
You will most likely be laying out on the beach, walking around the local shops, and relaxing.
Countryside Weekend:
These are all about family and relaxing, right? So you'll most likely be on your property the entire time.
City Weekend:
This is about going out, socializing, having fancy dinners, meeting new people. So it's always nice to look your best and look polished.
What will I really need?

E.L.F. Flawless Face Palette Swatches
1-4 are Shimmer Creams
5-8 are Concealers
9 is blush
10 is bronzer
2 and 3 are my first choice for the shimmer creams, but 1 and 2 obviously show up best.
5 and 7 blended into my skin the best.
The blush in this picture looks kind of brown, put it's actually a subtle pink with subtle gold sparkles in it. The bronzer is also very subtle, I just put a lot of to make it show up.
All in all this palette is a great starter for face make up. I also love how it shows you where to put things (even though I don't agree with a couple of the ways). It's $5.00 and you can find it here.
xxoo,
Claire.
