Sweet, Sweet Sixteen

Hello everyone! I decided to start a new series.  My Sweet Sixteen is in around a month and a half.  Like most other girls, I have a budget.  So planning inside that budget is very difficult.  Although it's definitely more on the affordable side, so for those of you who don't have much to spend then keep reading.  If you do have more money to spend, you can definitely pick up tips from this series too.

So the basics to planning a party.  What are they?

• Picking a theme
• Figuring out when and where the event will happen
• Sticking to your budget.

I've already figured out those basics.  My theme is black and white.  It's going to happen on March 10th, 2 days after my birthday, at a hotel conference room.  I have a limit of $300.  Half of that is renting the room.  So I have $150 to think of food and decorations.  As you can see those three things make a great foundation for the party.
